Update: As I hoped, the ticket I contested (mentioned in the second half of this story) was dismissed! I guess there is some justice after all.
My last story about hating the Chicago police was posted a little over 3 years ago and was starting to get a little stale. So how about a refresh?...

I really hate how Amazon likes to share product reviews across different versions of the same product. It causes major issues in areas like movies, digital cameras, and other products where you might have two similarly named items or items with different versions. Here's the email I just fired off...

I meant to post this when I first saw the new UPS ads, but better late than never.
I'll admit it, as much as I hated the guy, there was still something interesting in watching him form simple drawings on a whiteboard while explaining different UPS services.
But the new series of ads have all...

You know, Guinness has really got people figured out. Who hasn't pretended that when they drink beer, they're also drinking lots of little people? And little people playing percussion, at that.
Here's a tip, Guinness: I'd rather not have a beer that's "alive inside." That sounds terrible.

From the BMW TV ad for their new hydrogen car:
"A car that will leave its mark, without leaving a mark."
"Ready for the world, when the world is ready."
First of all, who were the ad wizards who came up with this one? Here, I got some great lines you should add to your commercial right...

I wasn't all that excited or interested in an article about how Chicago's supposed cell phone driving ban hasn't been very effective, and the lack of police enforcement being labeled the major reason for it. First off, I thought they've showed a few times now that you're just as distracted on a...

As you've probably heard, a bridge in Minneapolis collapsed during late-rush hour on Wednesday, causing numerous injuries and a few deaths. The story quickly circulated through the news, and now a couple of days have passed and they're trying to determine the cause.
But the media seems to have...

Underdog was one of those shows that was great to watch as a kid. From what I recall, both this show and Rocky and Bullwinkle were on Cartoon Network (or Fox) in short, 15-minute or less episodes, though I'm having trouble finding any complete information in Wikipedia or elsewhere despite a pretty...

If I hear another word about Paris Hilton or the iPhone I'm going to puke. Of course considering Paris is just getting out of jail today or tomorrow and the iPhone is coming out on Friday, odds are pretty good I'm going to be pretty sick.

I wouldn't mind so much that you're running a crappy ad campaign (about the "complaints" about the Beer Ape ads) except that I keep hearing/seeing it constantly on the radio/TV. It's really dumb and annoying, and even if I liked Rolling Rock, these ads could convince me to stop drinking it.
Get...

I hate when I leave Comedy Central on and suddenly Mind of Mencia comes on. That show is such a total piece of crap. Every single show involves Carlos Mencia doing about 6 gimmicks and a bunch of racial jokes. But as I was considering plunging into a rant about why the show sucks, I realized many...

So, usually when you sign up for a utility's automatic payment plan, you'd expect the bill to get paid automatically, right?
Well, apparently the gas company is retarded. They estimate your gas usage, and bill you according to the estimate. But they came out for a meter reading and found they...

So I'm going downtown Saturday night, and staying overnight. I decide to look at parking in a parking garage since the car I'm driving is new and it's snowing and I don't want snow and salt messing it up. But the parking garage costs $25 for anything over 10 hours, and it's definitely gonna be over...
