Security Briefs (S6E9)
This week's episode was
the last straw for me. I'll finish watching this season, but I'm not satisfied with the direction it's taken and what appears to be the direction it's going. This episode involved more of the break-in plot, ultimately leading to the revelation that the break-in was due to some sorority prank and not the stalker they had been going after. Ari went completely off the rails with Lloyd because there was no other way to have Lloyd leave since he's so loyal. But that also made it exceptionally unbelievable, especially when Lloyd abandoned the car. And the Ashley storyline continues, with her now becoming extremely prying and invasive in all of E's comings and goings (no Sloan drama this week).
To top it all off, Vince's random hookups have just become a stupid punchline, I doubt we'll get to see E do anything meaningful at his new agency because they're too focused on his relationships that just keep going in circles, and Drama's career has also been reduced to a punchline when it looked like he'd be more successful. Which just further demonstrates there's no substantial character or plot development going on with anyone. And a Zac Efron cameo? Come on!
After several disappointing episodes in a row, I'm not finding the current storylines to be very entertaining...I might be in the minority on this, but this episode was the nail in the coffin for me. Feel free to agree/disagree in the comments! I'm interested to know what others think about this season.
This was a review of Episode 75. See more reviews. And here's HBO's music credits for this episode (may not be up yet).

Perhaps it's not deserving of weekly recaps, but hey, that's your business. :)
