Speaking of campaign suspension, McCain's smells all kinds of funny. He hasn't cast a vote in 5 months and hadn't read the proposed bailout plan (3 pages long) as of yesterday, and now wants to delay the presidential debate that was to take place Friday, right after a week where he's been slipping in the polls.
Did I mention he's also proposing rescheduling the presidential debate to October 2nd, which would bump the VP debate to even later? And this after the media's already screaming about how there's been no press conferences or interviews with Palin. Though to be fair, it's a smart move on their part...she doesn't know anything, but if nobody can talk to her or interview her (except a few people who just throw her softballs), people won't get to find out just how little she knows or how naive/ill-fated her ideas are. Biden would definitely school her in a debate.
