This week in Entourage - Season 5, Episode 1 TV - Entourage
Fantasy Island (S5E1)

This week's episode was interesting. First off you had reactions to Medellin sucking, as expected. And Vince and Turtle were living it up on the beach. E and Ari went crazy when an offer for Vince presented itself, though that turned into quite a twist. Ari's reaction was hilarious.

The whole gang at the beach

A couple of things did annoy me about the episode though...Vince was way to easily convinced by E to go for the movie after he very obviously didn't give a crap. And his ignoring him on the first phone call seemed kind of ridiculous too. I also wonder if anything will come of the fact that Drama just took off from the poster shoot.

And I really hope they don't keep going off on the Murphy Group storyline during the season...it'd be good to see E get to be more of a manager, but it's hard to care about anyone else he's managing.

Finally, it was cool to see they added Lloyd (Rex Lee) to the opening credits. He's always amusing/funny and I wonder if that means we're going to see more of him.

Overall it's cool to have Entourage back, though this episode didn't establish much of the vibe for this season yet. I'm sure things will be getting interesting though.

I thought it was good. A nice setup episode. I'm interested to see how they can get Vince back to stardom.

I agree with anonymous. He makes a lot of good points.

Anyways, the one line that I wish was different was when they're back in LA at the end, and E says "I thought you didn't care what people think?"

Vince say "maybe just a little." I think it would have been so much better if he said something like "I don't care what people think. I just want to do this for me/us."

I think a non-response like "Meh" would have been even better.

i've only seen it once, but i'm tired of vince's self-righteous attitude about only making movies he loves and how he doesn't care about the money. i can see why he (especially turtle) didn't want to leave mexico.

drama was ridiculous, as usual, but funny. don't really like that the french girl is still around.

i wish they didn't point out for us how much ari and eric were alike. i wish they made us figure that out for ourselves.

overall, this episode felt like an introduction back to entourage, which was fine, but it's the awesome one-liners that have been missing lately from the show. i hope those come back

Agreed on all points...I forgot that I really did cringe when they pointed out that E and Ari looked the same. It couldn't have been more obvious with them already standing next to each other.
