Entourage Season 5 is in production [Update 2] TV - Entourage

Update 2: Entourage will start up again on September 7th at 10ET: ../stories/2008-08-22-entourage-season-5-premieres-september-7th-at-10et.html>

Thanks to
this comment I was able to track down an E! Online article about how Entourage Season 5 is currently in production:
Hailee from Tigard, Oregon:
I cannot wait for the Entourage boys to be roaming the streets of Hollywood again. Any word on when the show is coming back?

Great news! According to Adrian Grenier, Entourage is back in production as we speak. But to tide you over until they return, Adrian is producing a television show for the Discovery Channel called The Green Life that's slated to premiere in June. Adrian says, "We're documenting basically the lifestyle we've been living for a long time, which happens to be green, but it's also quite fun, so watch out!" Want more Entourage dish? Keep checking the section for a big dish download, coming soon...
As we've discussed previously, hopefully they change things up a bit in order to get to the great show they had through the end of Season 2 and first half of Season 3. The writing since then (i.e. Season 3 Part 2 and Season 4) has been kind of lackluster in comparison.

  • back in the fall
    Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 2nd, 2008 | 3:22pm

Entourage will be back in the fall. I read somewhere that it will be back on Sept 28th. I too was pyched when I read the EOnline article and was further thrilled to see that Adrian Grenier has shaved his beard.
Can't wait to see what Doug Ellin does with the Entourage boys next season.
Hope to see that they recut Medillin to salvage the mess Billy Walsh left.
I have a feeling Vince will be making "Lost in the Clouds" instead of "Silo", but that "Clouds" will be a big hit. This would explain why he was able to keep the long hair and scruff.
Hope Eric gets more clients and more respect.
Want to see Drama's show become a big hit and have him nominated for an Emmy.
Turtle should finally break into the music industry, maybe sign a female rapper.
Romance for everyone- it's time for these boys to become men. Would love to see Vince meet a girl that isn't so hot for him and willing to jump into bed with him. Maybe a little rivalry with Eric for her attentions.
All I can say is I can't wait for the first spoilers and set pics to hit the net!!

    • My Season 5 thoughts
      Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 15th, 2008 | 1:50pm

I definitely have been following the show although not until season 2, I was still on the sopranos then.

The Billy Walsh deal is a pain; the guy can act but just bothers me with his persistent crying. Had he listened to E maybe Caan would have got a better reception. Also, I am glad Dom got the boot; I was over him 10 min into his first showing.

Ari is totally the man and a scene stealer. Piv, if you see this “you the man”

I am definitely a Drama fan, he adds a great deal to the show.

      My prediction for season 5:

      • Silo bombs….leaves Vince unable to work and Ari can’t help him.
      • Due to the money situation, Vince will be living off Drama most of the season
      • Turtle will get some action from promoting
      • E will get several clients and assist with the support of the group

BUT……Harvey will be back and save the day! As predicted by Ari, Harvey re-cuts Medillin releases the picture and puts Vince solid on the A-list.

Might not go that route but would make interesting viewing.

      • What a Journey Johnny Drama!
        Posted by: Anonymous on Jun 19th, 2008 | 2:18am

Hello Entourage fatefull! SYMBII, for Kevin Dillon, life has most definately imitated art. Most of Kevin's career he has been overshadowed by sibling Matt Dillon. Matt has seen a lot more success in his career than Kevin- until now! The two can now go mono e mono during Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. As for me, I have always been a fan of Kevin's since I was a kid, the first role I seen him in was a HBO special called 'No Big Deal' were he was a troubled youth and never took life serious at all, then there was the big screen (well big at the time) The Blob were he was once again a troubled youth with a chip on his shoulder but this time he becomes a hero. After that he kind of slid into obscurity, and then brother Matt took over things for a while. But now he is back and on one of my favorite shows to boot! I crack a little smile everytime I see him shine on 'Entourage' because I always knew he had it in him, and now the world knows it as well. What a Journey Johnny Drama, what a journey! tdw

  • begins filming in Hawaii this week
    Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 16th, 2008 | 5:06am

Ok, the boys are back to work this week. They will begin filming in Hawaii, according to some online sources. They will also end up at Joshua Tree in Mexico sometime this season too.

This season will bring disappointment for Vince after the failure of Medillin, success for Eric in the management business, and a year where Johnny has the most success of the gang. Can't wait til Sept 28th!

  • EXCLUSIVE LOOK AT OPENING SEQUENCE FROM SEASON 5 OF ENTOURAGE

Check out the above video for an exclusive look at Kevin Connolly in the opening scene from Season 5 of HBO's Entourage. Eric Murphy is watching as tv critics slam Vincent Chase and Medellin. Looks like Season 5 is going to be an uphill climb for Adrian Grenier's alter-ego. (also looks like the guys are living with Drama again!)
