There's been two developments in building hype for the upcoming Simpsons movie coming out July 27th. First, their site at simpsonsmovie.com went live and you can explore all sorts of content. You can even make your own Simpsons avatar, though they oddly lack the ability to add either glasses or facial hair. So here's me without a goatee:


And over this last weekend, a bunch of 7-Eleven stores got converted to Kwik-E-Marts as part of the promotion. They seem to have done a pretty good job, with lots of jokes from the show. It's good to see that 7-Eleven was willing to poke some fun at itself. There's a ton of pictures up on Flickr of the stuff they put up in the stores, and you can see if one near you got converted on this page.
