This week in 24 - Season 6, Episode 19

Talk about a crappy episode! There was literally nothing good in this episode.

Let's go over what was stupid about it:
- Chloe and Morris having a fight - stupid.
- Tom and the VP make nice? - stupid.
- The VP and his assistant get cozy. No surprise. - stupid.
- Nadia goes from useless hot girl to head of CTU? WHaaaa??!!! - stupid.
- Doyle continues to be a total idiot, and screws up Jack's plan - stupid.
- Jack gets mad at Doyle for stopping his plan...which involved breaking the law - stupid.
- Audrey has been brainwashed or otherwise messed up - stupid.

Yep, frustrating episode. Did I miss anything? :)

I thought this episode was better than last week's. Although I dislike the episodes where Jack doesn't get to do anything.

He started the episode going to deliver the chip, and the handoff doesn't happen until the very end of the episode. That's why they had to fill it with crap like Bill getting fired, VP and his assistant and Morris-Chloe fighting. They're paying him 400k an episode! Make him do stuff!

It seemed like Bill and Karen didn't do anything wrong, and they have the people in custody behind the assasination, so why do they need more scapegoats? That's stupid.

I actually like that Audrey was brainwashed, because I never liked Audrey. But I bet they still get back together.

Of course in the internal logic of 24, Doyle screwed up Jack's plan and gave the chip to the Chinese.

But in the external logic, Doyle couldn't let Jack die. Plus, they'll figure out a way to get back the chip, they always do.

I don't know why it posted anonymously, but I fixed it so I can reply to you.

And yeah, they'll figure out how to get the chip back and they're used to getting things back a lot. Want to know why? Because the freaking perimeter always fails to capture anyone. To be fair, Doyle said this time they didn't get there in time and only covered the front. Which was just ingenious. They've only got one helicopter to cover the most important piece of technology? Where's the Harrier jets and Air Force fighters? All the Chinese needed was one rocket to take out the helicopter. Lame.

I forgot to mention, I really didn't like the exchange of the chip for Audrey. The Chinese guy is as powerful as he is and is willing to let Jack do the exchange in a place he could very well have spent a week boobytrapping (and he had boobytrapped it!!), and he let Jack dictate how the exchange would go. No way he would give Jack that much control over the exchange. And if he did, Jack should have rigged it so Cheng and his men would get killed as soon as Audrey was in his hands!

I really like how Doyle messed everything up. I wish Jack had more time to yell at him, though. I like how Audrey was brainwashed/on drugs/something.

But I don't like the political drama. I don't get how it makes any sense with Bill/Karen needing to take the fall.

I can't wait for the blonde assistant to start speaking Chinese or something. She's been acting pretty moley. Going to her house to get a change of clothes? Something's up.

Does anyone know when they're going to air the last five episodes? Are the last few going to be on the same night? I'm going to miss this show when the season ends.

The next 3 episodes will be normal, and then 2 hours back to back for a finale on May 21st.

Mark have you seen it yet? Yeah, I don't think that in 6 seasons I've ever seen the perimeter catch anyone--the backup team always blows it.
