This week in 24 - Season 6, Episode 18 TV - 24
If it weren't for the last 10 minutes, this episode would have been a total waste. Nothing useful happened, and it was fairly obvious about what was going to happen to Palmer well before it actually happened.

But in the last 10 minutes the VP got to throw a wrench into Jack's plan to save Audrey, and now Jack's working against the law again, which is always crazy and awesome, like when he had that prison break in an earlier season and was causing all kinds of mayhem (as Mark and I were talking about here earlier today).

I won't say what was in the preview for next week, but it looks like it's going to an action-packed episode!

Here's the link for the character countdown.

I thought this was a pretty good episode from beginning to end. I crack up every time "Jack's word" is mentioned. Of course, Diet Palmer (like the Coke line of products, he's a Palmer, but not nearly as good as the original) had to take a fall to get some conflict going. Who thinks Audrey dies? I do.

And what's with Doyle and Jack always yelling at each other?

It's all because Doyle's a stupid little bitch. And Jack's getting soft! How could he choose to take Doyle with him? Idiot. Maybe he knew he could take advantage of how weak and pathetic Doyle is. That'd be more Jack Bauer-like.

I didn't like this episode that much. Although that's to be expected after last week, which was the highlight of the season.

I was thinking before the episode how much I don't like the VP, and sure enough he comes back and is super annoying. I understand there has to be terrorists, but come on, continued crappy Veeps taking the White House? Ugh.

I didn't see a preview but next week should be a good one.

Also, Chloe can't be made at Morris--Morris was doing his job.

Shouldn't there be a rule that a VP acting as president can't override everything the president just said...
