So yesterday on local news I heard that 2 Chicago guys accidentally called 911 while talking about an upcoming heist, letting 911 dispatchers listen in on their planning. So today I went to look for more details and found the article I linked above. However, when looking for "accidental 911 call," I first found another article also from yesterday. In that article, 2 guys planning automobile arson accidentally hit a button that called 911 where dispatchers listened to them for 4 hours!

Two questions: Why are these people so stupid, and what the hell kind of phones do they have?!? Is it a phone with a giant red 911 button covering the face of it? - A phone where you can't sit down without hitting the button? How do 2 sets of criminals accidentally call 911 in the same day while planning their next activity?
