Of course it's all over the news that the Eagles suspended Terrell Owens for a week over what he's calling "a difference of opinion." And articles have been mentioning quotes from a Comcast Sports interview with him. While flipping through the channels yesterday, I caught the interview and it was hilarious. Partly because of the media and partly because of TO. When they're first interviewing him, there's this Comcast Sports crew with some super-low quality camera, making it look like some amateur documentary. They're asking TO all these questions, and he's answering maybe half of them. Then, he suddenly turns around and goes and walks into his house. The Comcast guy gets halfway through his question, realizes it's not going to be answered, and starts yelling, "Thanks TO!...Thank you for your time!". The best is yet to come - read on for more hilarity.
Then, the next part leads me to believe this interview was 24 hours long and edited. They fade back in to TO coming out of his house (this was a while later, they said), and he has no shirt on, and they start commenting on how he's really fit or whatever. He starts doing situps and all sorts of stuff, and a much larger media crowd has gathered. The camera pans to the street which is now completely filled with parked cars. Then, after a while, TO is tossing a football around with some guy off camera, but a large crowd now surrounds him, so he is nearly hitting a handful of cameramen and reporters everytime. Once, he even drops the ball and says, "This is why I'm not at practice." The whole thing was a media circus, and TO is quite possibly the most pompous douchebag ever. His other comments are equally funny.

Owens said his altercation with Reid began Wednesday when Reid approached him about not signing autographs in the team's training camp tent. At one point, Owens said, "Reid told me to shut up. And I just told him, 'I'm a grown man' -- I told him the same -- to shut up, and that was it."
